More about this list

Wednesday brings the widest choice of the week. In Gdynia-Orłowo, Cafe Espressya on ul. Orłowska holds its chess evenings on alternate Wednesdays, played as blitz at seven minutes plus five seconds, with dates listed into December 2026. Across the city, the chess studio of the Youth Culture Centre on ul. Grabowo, home of the school sports club UKS MDK Gdynia, teaches three groups one after another from 16:00 to 20:50: beginners, then intermediate, then advanced.

In Wejherowo, Klub Szachowy Sg1 moves its Wednesday training, from 17:00 to 19:00, to ul. Hallera 1a, the centre for non-governmental organisations next to the Kashubian Philharmonic. The Gdynia studio teaches again on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and the Wejherowo club on Tuesdays and Fridays.
